Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as R, Python, SQL, and Excel data analysis techniques to uncover trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting tools to visualize key metrics for stakeholders.
• Design and optimize data models and database structures within SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend or similar tools to facilitate seamless data integration across systems.
• Conduct requirements analysis with business partners to translate needs into technical specifications for dashboard development and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate within Agile teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Perform database design tasks ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Utilize data visualization techniques to communicate insights clearly through dashboards and reports that support business analysis.
• Support project management activities by tracking progress on analytics initiatives and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL programming for query management, database design, and data extraction.
• Strong experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms for dashboard development.
• Knowledge of ETL processes using Talend or comparable tools to facilitate data integration workflows.
• Expertise in programming languages including R and Python for advanced data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies like Agile for effective project execution in software development environments.
• Ability to perform Excel data analysis combined with VBA scripting for automation of repetitive tasks.
• Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle databases, or other SQL databases for data storage solutions.
• Understanding of linked data concepts to connect disparate datasets across platforms seamlessly.
• Skills in database design principles ensuring optimized performance and scalability of data systems.
• Knowledge of Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automating routine tasks in Unix-based environments.
• Ability to develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that support business intelligence initiatives effectively.
• Strong analysis skills combined with requirements analysis expertise to identify stakeholder needs accurately.

Pay: $74,700.00 - $90,100.00 per year
