Position: Data Analyst

Location: Bengaluru

We are seeking a Data Analyst who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive. The ideal candidate will not only identify trends and patterns in complex datasets but will also take ownership of translating data insights into actionable strategies. A strong financial background is essential, as the role requires interpreting and working with financial documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
• Proactively design and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, product, and leadership) to align data insights with business goals.
• Interpret financial documents and datasets to support risk assessment, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Take end-to-end ownership of analytics projects, from defining requirements to delivering insights and recommendations.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with relevant financial and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, ideally in the financial services or insurance sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial documents (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, financial reports).
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of projects.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
