Job Purpose

The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming business data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The role involves data collection, cleansing, analysis, dashboard development, KPI monitoring, and identifying trends and opportunities that enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Analysis

• Collect, validate, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources including ERP, SAP, CRM, Excel, and databases.
• Develop data models to support reporting and business analytics.
• Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities through data analysis.
• Perform root cause analysis for operational and business issues.

Dashboard & Reporting

• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reports.
• Develop automated reports and KPI scorecards.
• Create visualisations that enable data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure report accuracy and data consistency across systems.

Business Insights

• Analyse sales, procurement, inventory, production, finance, and operational data.
• Monitor key business KPIs and recommend improvement actions.
• Support management reviews with analytical presentations and insights.
• Provide predictive and trend-based analysis to assist business planning.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.
• Support digital transformation initiatives through analytics.
• Improve data quality standards and governance practices.
• Collaborate with business users to define reporting requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with department heads and business teams.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to management.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Power BI, Data Analytics, SQL, or Business Intelligence is preferred.

Experience
