Job Summary :

The Data Analyst will work with the AMEA Data AI team to bridge agricultural business processes and cloud-based data environments. The role involves translating commercial rules, sales cycles, distributor structures and marketing processes into accurate analytical models using Databricks and Amazon Redshift.

Key Responsibilities :

• Translate commercial business processes into accurate and documented SQL logic.

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and views in Amazon Redshift and Databricks.

• Map and validate data across SAP SD, Salesforce and digital tools.

• Build QlikSense dashboards for commercial KPIs.

• Analyze sell-in and sell-out data.

• Conduct analysis of sales campaigns, loyalty programs and promotional effectiveness.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize tables, views and pipelines.

• Implement data-quality validation queries.

• Ensure business logic is accurately represented in the data layer.

  Required Skills :

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst .

• Expert-level knowledge of SQL, CTEs, complex joins and query optimization .

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Amazon Redshift .

• Experience working with large datasets and cloud data environments .

• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling .

• Knowledge of Star and Snowflake Schemas .

• Experience working with SAP SD and Salesforce data .

• Understanding of commercial, sales and marketing processes .

• Experience with data validation, quality checks and business-rule mapping .

• Good understanding of sales/distributor/retailer data structures .

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

  Good to Have :

• QlikSense experience.

• AgTech/Agriculture/Crop Protection/Seeds experience.

• FMCG or structured distribution experience.

• Experience with AI/ML data teams.
