Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, validate and interpret data from multiple business and operational sources.
• Develop reports, dashboards and analytical models to support

management decision-making.

• Identify trends, patterns, performance gaps and opportunities for business improvement.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports covering operational, financial and commercial performance.
• Design and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation tools.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate and analyse data from databases.
• Use Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to perform data analysis and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful analytical reports and performance indicators.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into

business performance.

• Work with finance teams to analyse budgets, expenses, revenue,

profitability and financial trends where required.

• Support operations teams by analysing productivity, resource utilisation, service delivery and process efficiency.
• Analyse sales, customer behaviour, market trends and business

development performance where applicable.

• Support supply chain and procurement teams with inventory, supplier, cost and delivery performance analysis.
• Identify data inconsistencies, investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency and reliability across reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with data engineers, IT teams and business stakeholders to improve data availability and reporting processes.
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks and improve analytical workflows.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings, insights and

recommendations to management.

• Maintain documentation of reporting processes, data definitions, analytical methodologies and business requirements.
• Support forecasting, trend analysis and business planning activities where applicable.
• Recommend process improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Ensure appropriate handling of business information and compliance with relevant data privacy and security requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree I
• 3-8years of relevant professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, business analytics or related analytical functions.
• Strong experience working with large datasets, reporting systems,

dashboards and business performance metrics.

• Practical knowledge of SQL, Excel and at least one business intelligence or data visualisation platform.
• Demonstrated ability to convert complex data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with senior management and cross-functional teams will be an advantage.
