Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, organize, interpret, and analyze data to support business decisions and improve organizational performance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights, reports, and recommendations for management.

Job Description

• Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and potential business risks.
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and visual presentations to communicate findings to management.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau to analyze and visualize data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Interpret business data and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement through data analysis.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand reporting needs and provide relevant insights.
• Verify data accuracy and resolve inconsistencies, missing values, and reporting discrepancies.
• Automate recurring reports and improve data collection, processing, and reporting procedures.
• Maintain organized databases and documentation of data sources, analytical methods, and reporting processes.
• Conduct market, customer, operational, and financial data analysis as required.
• Ensure data confidentiality, security, and compliance with applicable data protection policies.
• Present analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform other data-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role; relevant practical experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, and data cleaning.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, data interpretation, and reporting techniques.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High level of integrity and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
