Data Analyst (Creative Agency)

The Data Analyst will support the Media Team by organizing, standardizing, and improving the way digital media spend and performance data are collected, reconciled, analyzed, and reported. The role will review existing platform reports, trackers, and reporting workflows; consolidate data from multiple sources; automate recurring data preparation and reporting processes where feasible; and develop basic dashboards to improve visibility of media spend and campaign performance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data & Reporting Workflow Review

● Review and map existing platform reports, trackers, spreadsheets, and reporting processes used by the Media Team.

● Identify gaps, redundancies, manual processes, and opportunities for improvement.

● Document existing data sources, reporting requirements, data flows, and key metrics.

● Recommend practical improvements to data collection and reporting workflows.

2. Media Data Standardization & Consolidation

● Standardize media spend, campaign performance, and related data across platforms and accounts.

● Consolidate data from multiple sources into structured and consistent reporting formats. ● Maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across trackers and reporting files.

● Establish standardized naming conventions, data structures, and reporting templates where applicable.

3. Reporting Automation

● Identify recurring manual data preparation and reporting tasks that can be automated.

● Develop and maintain automated or semi-automated processes for data cleaning, consolidation, and reporting where feasible.

● Reduce manual effort and improve the speed, consistency, and reliability of recurring reports.

● Continuously assess opportunities to improve reporting efficiency.

4. Media Spend Reconciliation & Dashboarding

● Support the reconciliation and utilization tracking of media spend across relevant platforms and internal records.

● Develop and maintain basic dashboards providing visibility into media spend, delivery, and campaign performance.

● Assist the Media Team in identifying discrepancies, data gaps, and reporting inconsistencies.

● Provide data summaries and insights that support media planning, optimization, and management decision-making.

5. Data Quality & Governance

● Perform regular data validation and quality checks before reports are finalized.

● Ensure that data is properly structured, documented, and traceable to its source.

● Maintain organized reporting files, databases, trackers, and documentation.

● Work with Media and other relevant teams to resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues.

6. Future-Proofing & Platform Integration

● Design reporting workflows and data structures with scalability and future integration in mind.

● Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure future data integrations can be implemented with minimal disruption to existing workflows.

● Stay informed on relevant data, reporting, automation, and media analytics tools that may improve the team's capabilities.
