Data Analyst cum Accounts Payable

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented Data Analyst cum Accounts Payable to join our regional financial technology and business services company. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working with financial, operational and sales data.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
• Analyze business, sales, financial, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities
• Check daily transactions of customers and banks
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Ms Excel, Power BI or similar tools
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
• Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and sales commissions accurately and on time
• Prepare payment schedules and process accounts payable payments
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation

About you

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business analytics, data analytics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI and accounting software is an advantage
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work independently while meeting deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to read and write in Chinese to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients
