Data Analyst (Demand Forecast and Planning)

A MNC which is a supplier to Semiconductor industry has an opening for a Data Analyst to improve Demand Forecasting accuracy by designing, implementing, and operating analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine time-series statistical modeling for demand forecasting accuracy over an 18 month period with R and Python via Google Cloud Platform
• Automate business processes by using Phyton to develop machine learning models
• Perform analysis on structured and unstructured datasets to pick up risk, opportunities, trends and patterns
• Interpret complicated business challenges into scalable, robust, and sustainable analytical solutions through creative problem-solving and a deep understanding of data.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Power BI to effectively communicate insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide and present complex information using data visualization techniques via developing dashboards and reporting via as Microsoft Power BI.
• Actively assess and enhance forecasting method, planning processes, and analytical tools to produce quantifiable business value.
• Work with Supply Chain, Sales, and IT teams to influence adoption of analytical solutions and best practices

Requirement:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics with 5 yrs of relavant experience
• Min 2 years’ experience in Python
• Min 2 years of experience with time series, with a strong understanding and knowledge in time series forecasting; univariate, multivariate, and ensemble modeling.
• Min 2 years of experience with database technologies (SQL or others) in querying, creating databases, stored procedures, etc
• At least 1 year of experience in Google Cloud Platform or similar (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
• Min above 1 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and forecasting applications within supply chain and demand planning is preferred.
• Experience with SAP IBP or other advanced planning systems is considered an asset.
