Data Analyst Manager

We are supporting a large diversified business group in hiring an experienced Data Analyst Manager to lead its commercial data and analytics function.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring that commercial and financial decisions are supported by accurate, reconciled and fully validated data . The role will manage the end-to-end data pipeline across multiple business units and source systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end data pipeline covering extraction, reconciliation, validation and publication of version-controlled datasets.
• Manage data coming from multiple systems including ERP, CRM/CDM, dealer management systems, POS, telematics, payments and billing .
• Establish strong data lineage , ensuring every published figure can be traced back to its original source.
• Define and manage data-quality and reconciliation controls before datasets are released.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metric definitions and data contracts across different business units.
• Lead data-quality measurement covering accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency and duplication .
• Support commercial and financial analysis including cost of sales, pricing, customer data, CLV and retention datasets .
• Manage data governance including access rights, privacy, retention and compliance .
• Lead and develop a small team of Data Specialists.

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years' experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence or Data Management, including at least 3 years leading a small team .
• Strong experience managing data pipelines supporting finance or commercial decision-making .
• Experience working across multiple entities, systems and data sources .
• Strong SQL plus Python or R .
• Hands-on knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehouses/lakehouses and BI platforms .
• Experience with financial reconciliation and data quality/governance .
• ERP, dealer management and CRM data experience is highly preferred.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted analytics and development tools while maintaining appropriate validation and controls.
