Data Analyst - Partnership Lending Business

But you own the truth — your real edge is the judgment to validate AI output, catch hallucinations, verify the numbers, and ground every recommendation in the actual data. This role is built for someone who leads the AI, not someone the AI replaces.

How you'll make an impact

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst who operates as a true business partner — someone who turns data into strategy, helps teams make better product and growth decisions, and builds an analytics practice that is AI-enabled by default. You will work across the full product lifecycle: discovery, launch, growth, optimization, and quality monitoring.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain reporting — write SQL to pull, clean, and join data; build and maintain dashboards that track funnel, activation, disbursal, and portfolio metrics, and break them down by segment and channel.
• Answer business questions — take requests from Sales & Acquisition, Product, and Marketing, clarify what decision they support, and deliver accurate analyses with a clear "so what".
• Run core analyses — perform funnel, cohort, and segmentation analyses to explain why metrics move and where the biggest opportunities sit; present findings with a recommendation, reviewed with your Senior DA.
• Support experiments — help set up A/B tests, prepare tracking requirements, monitor test health, and analyze results with guidance on design and statistical rigor.
• Keep data trustworthy — work with Data Engineering to validate event tracking and metric definitions; document tables, logic, and dashboards so others can reuse them.
• Monitor and flag issues — watch daily and weekly metrics, spot anomalies, data-quality problems, or funnel breaks early, do first-level root-cause checks, and escalate with evidence.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or in a similar data-driven role.
• Strong SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs) and hands-on experience with Excel and Python or R for analysis.
• Experience building dashboards in a data-visualization tool (Power BI, Looker / Google Data Studio, Tableau, Metabase, or similar).
• Solid foundation in descriptive statistics and core analysis methods: funnel, cohort, and segmentation; basic understanding of A/B testing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; you double-check numbers before sharing them.
• Clear communicator who can explain findings simply to non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on use of AI/GenAI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) in real work — to draft SQL or code, explore data, or summarize findings. [Non-negotiable]
• Habit of validating AI output — checking results against the data and catching errors before they reach stakeholders.
• Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable taking feedback.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or lending/credit products is a plus.
• Fluent in Vietnamese and working English

This is an AI Fusion Level 1 role. We encourage you to:

• Use AI/GenAI tools daily to speed up SQL writing, data exploration, and report drafting.
• Verify every AI-generated query, number, and insight against the source data before using it.
• Turn repeated prompts into shared templates or simple workflows, and grow toward building reusable AI-assisted workflows.
