Data Analyst (Pricing)

About the role

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for monitoring customer and competitor pricing, analyzing customer and route profitability, and ensuring the accuracy of pricing data to support business pricing decisions. This role directly contributes to revenue generation by providing reliable pricing analysis, profitability insights, and market intelligence to support the organization's strategic pricing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer pricing across various market segments
• Maintain and update pricing matrices comparing company rates against competitors
• Analyze pricing trends and provide recommendations to support competitive positioning
• Prepare detailed pricing analyses for customers and business segments
• Evaluate customer profitability and route profitability
• Generate contribution margin reports per customer and profitability reports for fixed routes
• Identify opportunities to improve margins and optimize pricing structures
• Support revenue growth initiatives through data-driven analysis
• Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market trends
• Conduct market research and provide regular competitor pricing reports

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or related field
• Relevant experience in pricing, finance, business analysis, or data analytics
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Advanced Excel/Google Sheets)
• Knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis techniques
• Strong market research capabilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
