Data Analyst+ Project Manager

Title-Data Analyst (80%) + PM (20%)

Location: Little Rock, AR

Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst / Project Manager who will spend approximately 80% of their time on data analysis and 20% on project management activities. The ideal candidate will be strong in SQL, Excel, data visualization, and reporting, while also having the ability to coordinate projects, track deliverables, and work with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis – 80%

Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.

Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Use Excel for data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, lookups, and data validation.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Perform data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.

Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.

Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.

Project Management – 20%

Support planning, tracking, and execution of data and analytics projects.

Coordinate with business, data, IT, and other cross-functional teams.

Track project milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.

Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates.

Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and help drive them to resolution.

Facilitate meetings and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.

Required Skills

4+ years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence, with some project coordination experience.

Strong SQL and Excel skills.

Experience working with large datasets.

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good understanding of data quality, reporting, and visualization.

Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project is a plus.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

Pay: $90,700.00 - $110,000.00 per year
