DATA ANALYST (RETAIL & COMMERCE)

Chocochips is looking for a Data Analyst who can transform data into actionable business insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

This role will work closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Sales, Ecommerce, Marketing teams and Offline store team to identify opportunities, solve business problems, improve inventory productivity, and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Performance: Analyze cross-channel business performance (offline, website, marketplace) and provide data-driven recommendations for strategic decisions.
• Product & Merchandising: Analyze product performance and support planning, replenishment, and markdown strategy; identify hero, fast-moving, and slow-moving items.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory health and productivity (STR, DOI, Turnover) to improve efficiency and reduce dead stock.
• Sales & Channel Analysis: Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and campaign/channel performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Forecasting & Planning: Prepare sales and inventory forecasts to support budgeting, business planning, and scenario planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Merchandise Analyst, Retail Analyst, or similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or dashboard tools is a plus
• Able to interpret business data and translate it into practical recommendations
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized
• Strong communication skills and able to collaborate across departments
• Experience in retail, fashion, ecommerce, merchandising, or supply chain industry is highly preferred.
