Data Analyst / Scientist

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst/Scientist to join their team. This is a hybrid position working 4 days in office and 1 day from home. We're Looking For:

• Scopes ambiguous business asks into clear, deliverable data problems without heavy handholding
• Ships production-quality pipelines and dashboards, not one-off scripts
• Monitors what you deploy - catches drift and issues before others do
• Comfortable presenting findings to non-technical and VP-level audiences

Requirements

• Python: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, plus at least one of statsmodels, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• SQL Server and Oracle (Snowflake a plus)
• Tableau - usability, performance, executive-ready dashboards
• Splunk - SPL searches and dashboards from operational data
• Statistical inference and hypothesis testing on large, messy operational data
• ML fundamentals: classification, regression, clustering, tree-based models
• Git/GitLab version control and maintainable, documented code
• Strong communication - regularly interfaces with VPs and Product Owners

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Telecom/cable or call-center operations background
• NLP: transformers, HuggingFace, topic modeling, embeddings/semantic search
• MLOps: Prefect, Airflow, Docker, GitLab CI/CD
• Time series analysis on high-volume event data
• Vector databases: ChromaDB, Pinecone, FAISS
• Alteryx (supporting migration to Python), Streamlit, REST APIs (Jira/Tableau/Splunk)
• Cloud data platforms (GCS, AWS, or Azure); Snowflake

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
