About the Role

Premium Textile is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with hands-on procurement experience in the textile industry, ideally with exposure to spinning operations and raw material requirements. This role blends analytical expertise with practical sourcing knowledge — you'll turn procurement and production data into actionable insights that drive cost savings, supplier performance, and spinning supply efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Analytics

• Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Excel) for procurement spend, inventory, and spinning input requirements.
• Analyze cotton/yarn/fiber consumption, waste %, and yield trends to forecast spinning requirements.
• Develop data models to track supplier performance, lead times, price variance, and OTIF (on-time-in-full) delivery.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through spend analysis and demand forecasting.

Procurement & Spinning Support

• Collaborate with spinning/production teams to translate production plans into raw material requirements.
• Support sourcing of cotton, yarn, and fiber based on data-driven demand signals.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and consumption patterns to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Assist in supplier evaluation, negotiation support, and contract tracking with data-backed insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Statistics, Textile Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement/sourcing within the textile industry (spinning exposure strongly preferred).
• Solid understanding of spinning requirements — fiber specs, yarn counts, consumption ratios, and waste factors.
• Strong analytical skills: advanced Excel required; SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python preferred.
