Data Analyst – Ticket Resale & Pricing

What are we looking for?

We're expanding our pricing team and looking for a Pricing Analyst who will work closely with ownership, analyze marketplace data, implement pricing strategy, and own weekend event coverage. This is a long-term role with real growth potential — StubWorld is one of several growing businesses under our umbrella, and the right person will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility across other projects as they prove themselves, not just sit still in one lane.

What would you do?

Manage and price ticket inventory across multiple sales channels.

Analyze historical sales, secondary market data, and industry trends to set and adjust pricing in real time.

Track sales and market movement on both primary and secondary markets, and report findings to ownership.

Roll out price changes across channels as market conditions shift — sometimes hour to hour on game day.

Build and maintain pricing models and recommendations.

Own Friday evening and Saturday event-day pricing and inventory coverage (see schedule below) — this is core to the role, not overtime.

Use AI and modern data tools (not just spreadsheets) to speed up pricing analysis, trend-spotting, and reporting — we want someone who wants to build this skill, not just run static Excel models.

Grow into additional responsibilities across our other business ventures as you prove yourself.

Schedule:

Tuesday–Thursday: standard business hours, in office

Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (covers Friday night event pricing)

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (covers Saturday event pricing)

Sunday and Monday: permanent days off

Weekend coverage (Fri/Sat) is a fixed, ongoing part of this role tied to live event schedules — not occasional.

What do you bring?

Strong analytical skills and comfort interpreting large datasets.

Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools for data analysis and reporting (ChatGPT, Claude, Excel/Sheets with AI add-ins, etc.) — we'd rather train someone curious about this than someone stuck in pure-manual Excel habits.

Excellent communicator, able to report findings clearly to ownership.

Reliable, highly detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities under deadline.

Genuine enthusiasm for sports and live entertainment markets.

Comfortable working some night and weekend hours as a fixed part of the schedule above.

Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Desired: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field

Preferred experience:

Data analytics or pricing analysis

Ticketing, sports, or entertainment industry

Sales reporting/forecasting

Special Requirements:

Applicant should reside within a 40-mile radius of Pomona, NY 10970.

This is an in-person role.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000 – $67,000/year, with room for fast advancement

Benefits: Paid time off
