Job Description:
We at The Brite Group are seeking a Data Analyst/Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience supporting DoD stakeholders to analyze military, governmental, or business operations and deliver data-driven insights for decision-making, policy, and resource allocation. The ideal candidate brings a background in operations research, PPBE, capability development, modernizing data platforms, intelligence analysis, or financial data, along with strong SQL skills, Python, and Microsoft Access. Experience with ETL tools, large datasets, and visualization platforms such as Power BI or Qlik is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

At least 4+ years of experience working as a strong data analyst with experience in the following areas:

• Military or operations research-related fields related to military operations, deployment readiness, and financial data.
• Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
• Experience working with Access database and advance Excel skills.
• Strong experience extracting datasets from variety of data sources using SQL and/or Python.
• Some experience with ETL tools and working with large datasets.

Technical Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience working with DoD stakeholders to collect, maintain, and refine complex datasets.
• Proven expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL) and interfacing with clients.
• Professional experience extracting datasets from a variety of data sources using SQL and/or Python.
• Direct experience with ETL/ELT tools and managing large, complex datasets.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Data Visualization tools like Qlik or Power BI.
• Intelligence collection and Analysis and Force / Capability Development experience is an added plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
