Data Analytics, Assistant Manager (Global Insurance Company)

My client is seeking an experienced professional to lead business intelligence and performance reporting initiatives. This role will focus on improving operational efficiency, leveraging technology to generate business insights, and drive insights into business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the data analytics strategy, including omni-channel contact management platforms and customer analytics across the customer lifecycle.
• Build integrated sales and marketing analytics capabilities supported by the right technology, data infrastructure, and operating model.
• Lead the data analytics function to support business operations, product planning, performance tracking, regulatory reporting, and risk management.
• Design customer engagement strategies to drive profitability, strengthen customer relationships, improve retention, and increase cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage leads within the CMS platform and generate daily reports on lead status, sales progress, and conversion performance.
• Support agency compensation administration through compensation reporting, commission and incentive analysis, and ad hoc support for agency management and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver reporting tools, dashboards, data applications, and visualizations to support planning, monitoring, and management reporting.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support business decisions, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements in all analytics and reporting activities.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, or Computer Science with at least 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, performance management, or related fields.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.

• Experience in agency compensation analysis, commission reporting, incentive tracking, or distribution support is preferred.

• Strong background in data management, analytics strategy, reporting automation, and CMS/lead management platforms.

• Knowledge of agency compensation structures, commission calculations, incentive schemes, and related reporting is preferred.

• Proven ability to lead analytics initiatives and business transformation projects that deliver measurable results.

• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to leveraging data to improve business performance and customer outcomes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into practical business recommendations.

• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
