Data Analytics Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

Data Engineering

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and data warehouses.
• Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.

Analytics & Reporting

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Create KPIs, metrics, and performance reports for business users.

Data Management

• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.
• Validate and cleanse data to improve data accuracy.
• Maintain documentation for data processes, models, and workflows.

Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests.
• Provide recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL and database optimization skills.
• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
• Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, or Big Data technologies is preferred.

Analytical Skills

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience with KPI development and business performance analysis.
