Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This hybrid role combines data engineering and data analytics, focusing on building reliable data pipelines while transforming data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with data analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and impactful for decision-making. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy both technical data infrastructure work and analytical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline & Infrastructure

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Improve and optimize existing pipelines to ensure performance, reliability, and data quality.
• Support ETL/ELT processes and maintain data warehouse structures.
• Manage and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and basic statistical analysis.

Support business teams (marketing, product, operations) with data-driven insights

Data Integration and Collaboration

• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, third-party tools).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and define data requirements.
• Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Data Quality, Automation & Monitoring

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
• Automate data workflows and validation processes.
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (must-have).
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of statistics / data analysis methods (EDA, hypothesis testing).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time data pipelines or big data tools.
• Exposure to gaming / user behavior analytics.
• Experience with APIs and data integration.
• Knowledge of A/B testing or experimentation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
