Data Intelligence Manager

About the Opportunity

Our client, a global leader in the insurance technology (InsurTech) industry, is looking for an experienced Data Intelligence Manager to lead its data analytics function. This role will oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of business data to generate actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, lead a team of analytics professionals, and play a key role in supporting new partner and product launches through data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Data Intelligence team responsible for data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and implement data analytics frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain complex dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business and executive stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize data models and reporting structures to support business analytics and performance measurement.
• Analyze business trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics to generate actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, and compliance with data privacy standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Support new partner onboarding and product launches by delivering timely and accurate analytics.
• Establish and maintain documentation for data processes, reporting methodologies, governance standards, and analytics frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve analytics capabilities through new technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
• Manage multiple initiatives while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.

• At least 10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related functions.

• Proven experience leading analytics teams and managing end-to-end analytics initiatives.

• Experience supporting new product launches or partner implementations through analytics.

• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data modeling, and business intelligence methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • SQL
  • Python
  • Power BI
  • Databricks (or similar analytics platforms)

• Experience designing enterprise data models, reporting frameworks, and visualization solutions.

• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, and privacy regulations.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Insurance or InsurTech industry.
• Exposure to highly regulated industries such as Financial Services or Banking.
• Experience working with regional or global teams.
