The Data Analytics Manager in the Technology & Telecoms industry will be based in Kowloon and focus on driving business insights and process improvements through effective analysis. This permanent role offers a role to contribute to strategic projects within the technology department.

Description

As a Data Analytics Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Analysing business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Developing and documenting detailed business requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business needs.
• Conducting feasibility studies and impact analyses for proposed changes.
• Supporting project management teams with data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Creating reports and dashboards to track project progress and performance metrics.
• Ensuring compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Providing training and support to stakeholders on new systems or processes.

Profile

A successful Data Analytics Manager should have:

• 7+ years of progressive analytics experience (business analytics, BI, data analytics, or related), including at least 2 years in a people-leadership or program-lead role.
• Proficiency with BI tools and analytics platforms such as Power BI and/or Tableau and/or Looker, SQL (advanced querying, joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization)
• A strong academic background in business, information systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business analysis within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies is an advantage.
