Data Analytics Specialist (Contract - 6 Months)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Specialist to maintain, enhance, and support several Learning Analytics and Reporting platforms used by the Global Learning team.
The role will focus on ensuring the ongoing reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of our existing analytics ecosystem, including Power BI dashboards, Power Apps solutions, SharePoint sites, and supporting data sources. The successful candidate will work closely with Learning, Capability, and Reporting stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, onboard new data sources, and improve the user experience.
This is a 6-month contract position with flexibility for full-time, part-time, or reduced-hour arrangements, provided consistent support is available throughout the engagement.
Ideally this role will look into automate as much possible the solutions so whenever the data is collected this automatic populates de dashboards

Key Responsibilities

Platform Maintenance & Support

• Maintain and support existing Power BI reporting solutions and analytics portals.
• Monitor data refreshes and resolve data quality issues.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and connected data sources.
• Ensure dashboards and reporting tools remain accurate, reliable, and user-friendly.

Analytics Enhancement

• We will need someone to add the post assessment data , we will collect more data that need to have a comparison before and after
• Develop new reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements.
• Add and integrate new data sources into existing reporting environments.
• Improve current reporting capabilities through automation and advanced analytics.
• Create reusable metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.

Power Platform Development

• Maintain and enhance Power Apps used to collect, manage, and display learning data.
• Support workflow improvements using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Recommend opportunities to streamline manual reporting processes.

SharePoint Administration

• Maintain Learning Analytics SharePoint sites and associated content.
• Manage permissions, data connections, document libraries, and site updates.
• Improve navigation, usability, and stakeholder access.

Data Management

• Prepare, clean, validate, and transform datasets.
• Support integrations from Excel, SharePoint, Forms, Power Apps, and other business systems.
• Maintain documentation of data sources and reporting logic.

Stakeholder Support

• Act as the primary contact for analytics portal support requests.
• Gather requirements for enhancements and new reporting needs.
• Provide user guidance and training where required.
• Collaborate with learning professionals and business stakeholders globally.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Advanced Power BI development and administration.

• Experience with Power Apps development and support.

• SharePoint administration and site management experience.

• Advanced Excel skills including:

• Power Query

• Pivot Tables

• Data modelling

• Advanced formulas

• Experience designing and maintaining business dashboards and analytics portals.

Data & Analytics

• Strong understanding of data analytics and reporting principles.
• Experience managing multiple data sources.
• Ability to identify data quality issues and implement solutions.
• Knowledge of KPI design and performance reporting.

Soft Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft

• Experience with Learning Analytics.

• Knowledge of Learning & Development metrics and reporting.

• Experience supporting global or enterprise-scale reporting solutions.

• Familiarity with Agile project delivery.

  By the end of the assignment, the resource will have:

• Maintained uninterrupted operation of Learning Analytics platforms.

• Implemented agreed reporting enhancements and dashboard improvements.

• Added new data sources and automated manual reporting activities.

• Improved reliability, accuracy, and usability of analytics solutions.

• Documented reporting processes and technical architecture for long-term sustainability.

Ideal Profile: A hands-on Power BI and Power Platform specialist with strong analytics skills who can act as the ongoing technical owner of a learning analytics ecosystem, ensuring the platforms continue to evolve and deliver business value.
