About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Trainer to support IBM's professional learning programs. The trainer will lead professional certificate cohorts and foundational learning programs, delivering live instructor-led sessions and mentoring learners through hands-on labs, assignments, real-world projects, and capstone assessments. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, SQL, Python, data visualization, and statistical analysis, along with proven experience in training, teaching, or mentoring learners.

Scope of Work

● Deliver end-to-end training for IBM's professional-level Data Analytics programs.

● Conduct live virtual instructor-led sessions, including technical sessions, project reviews, and program opening/closing sessions.

● Mentor learners through assignments, hands-on labs, projects, and capstone assessments.

● Provide technical guidance, project feedback, and ongoing learner support.

● Support learners in completing self-paced modules and practical exercises.

● Develop or customize datasets, exercises, and practical learning activities.

● Use real-world business scenarios and industry-relevant examples to make learning practical.

● Encourage learner participation, engagement, and successful program completion.

● Collaborate with curriculum and program teams to improve the learning experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills

● Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

● 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics with strong technical and practical expertise. ● Proven experience in Data Analytics training, teaching, mentoring, or coaching.

● Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, data analysis, visualization, Power BI and/or Tableau, data modeling, and statistical analysis.

● Experience working with large datasets and real-world business analytics projects.

● Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

● Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginner and intermediate-level learners.

● Comfortable delivering training in a virtual environment and in English.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25.0 per week
