Data & AI Intern

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated Data & AI Intern to join the EPCI department, supporting the Market Intelligence area and Construction Oversight team.

This position is ideal for a student passionate about data, artificial intelligence, automation and process optimization who wants to apply emerging technologies to real business challenges.

The ideal candidate combines a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence with a solid understanding of data and analytics. We are looking for someone who can turn technological possibilities into practical business solutions, from identifying opportunities and designing use cases to developing, implementing and improving solutions.

We are particularly interested in candidates who actively explore and apply the latest AI technologies, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions. The candidate should bring fresh ideas, challenge existing ways of working and identify innovative opportunities to improve productivity, knowledge management and business processes.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Identify opportunities to improve Market Intelligence and Construction Oversight activities through AI, automation and data-driven solutions.
• Challenge existing ways of working and propose innovative solutions to simplify, standardize and optimize business processes.
• Create AI Agents and integrate them into key processes.
• Automate repetitive tasks and reporting processes, develop internal tools and standardize processes using Python, Microsoft Power Platform and AI-based solutions.
• Improve data quality, consistency and accessibility across Market Intelligence datasets.
• Contribute to maintaining market intelligence databases and analytical tools.
• Support data integration between systems through APIs and automated data exchanges.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Student or recent graduate in Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline.

LANGUAGES

Fluent in English.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Hands-on experience and strong interest in Generative AI, AI Agents, LLMs, Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT and emerging AI technologies.

KNOWLEDGE

• Proficiency in Python.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Power Query and data transformation techniques.
• Good understanding of data analytics concepts, databases, data modelling and data management principles.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Understanding of APIs and system integrations is a plus.
