What they need
Quality Operator (Textile) — Office Based
This is a desk job in an air-conditioned office, working on a computer. You will not operate machines, and you will not stand on the production floor. Instead, you will review images of fabric captured by automated inspection systems on knitting lines and mark the defects you find on screen. We are looking for someone who knows textiles and can spot a defect faster than most people - and who wants to use that knowledge at a desk, not on a shop floor.
What you'll do
- Review fabric images on screen and label defects - holes, drop stitches, oil marks, contamination, elastane, thick yarn, thin yarn, softener, friction marks, needle lines and others - using our annotation software.
- Apply our written labelling guidelines consistently, image after image, so the data stays reliable.
- Keep your own accuracy high: annotations are reviewed against agreed quality standards.
- Flag unclear images and new or unusual defect types to the technical team instead of guessing.
- Write short, clear notes and reports in English about what you are seeing in the data.
- Coordinate with the project's AI and quality teams on defect definitions and borderline cases.
- Complete company-provided training on the defect catalogue and annotation tools.
Must have
- Good understanding of knitting, weaving and/or finished fabric inspection — you can name and recognise common fabric defects.
- Strong spoken and written English — mandatory. You will write notes and reports and speak with international colleagues.
- Comfortable working on a computer for a full working day: precise mouse work, keyboard, basic software.
- Strong attention to detail and the patience to stay accurate over hundreds of images.
- Willingness to learn and complete company-provided technical training.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in textile QC or fabric inspection - ideally in finished fabrics/weaving or dyehouse department
- Familiarity with fabric specifications: GSM, width, shade, appearance.
- Any exposure to data labelling, image annotation or AI/ML projects.
What's great about this job
- It's a desk job, not a floor job. Air-conditioned office, seated work, clean environment, no machine noise, no production-line shifts.
- Your textile knowledge becomes AI. The defects you label directly train models used by mills around the world — your work leaves the building.
- Room to grow.
- International project. You work in English with engineers and quality specialists based outside Pakistan.
What we offer
- Full-time position, competitive salary.
- Air-conditioned, modern office in [location].
- Paid technical training on textiles and AI annotation.
Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
