Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect & Modeler with strong hands-on expertise in Erwin, SQL, enterprise data modeling, and banking/financial services. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing high-performance Operational Data Stores (ODS) and near-real-time Data Warehouses.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data analysis, and data modeling within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of Kimball and Inmon data modeling methodologies.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models, including Entity Relationship (ER) models.
• Strong expertise in Erwin Data Modeling tools.
• Experience modeling banking data across accounts, credit/debit cards, payments, and digital transaction processing.
• Advanced SQL development, database design, data analysis, and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with Oracle Exadata, MongoDB, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data pipelines, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data sharing.
• Experience designing complex dashboards in Power BI.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Splunk, including advanced macros for data analysis.
• Ability to analyze existing data landscapes, identify trends and issues, and establish data standards aligned with business objectives.

Note: Candidates must have strong hands-on Erwin data modeling experience, advanced SQL skills, and a solid banking/financial services background. The role requires an onsite/hybrid presence in Alpharetta, GA.
