Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced data architect with strong expertise in Databricks to design and deliver large-scale cloud data transformation and modern data platform solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data architecture, Apache Spark, lakehouse architecture, and cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade data architectures using Databricks.
• Build modern Lakehouse solutions leveraging Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark (PySpark).
• Design robust data models, including dimensional modeling, data vault, and lakehouse modeling.
• Build and optimize batch and real-time streaming data pipelines using Structured Streaming or Kafka.
• Lead cloud data modernization and migration initiatives.
• Implement data governance, security, metadata management, and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data platform consulting.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark / PySpark.
• Advanced SQL and Python programming skills.
• Experience with Lakehouse Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Strong understanding of data modeling (dimensional modeling, data vault, and lakehouse modeling).
• Experience building streaming data pipelines using Structured Streaming or Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
