Data Architect

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and implement data warehousing solutions using Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Develop dimensional models for large-scale datasets to support business intelligence reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable ETL processes using PySpark, Scala, and SQL.
• Ensure high-performance querying capabilities through efficient indexing techniques.

Job Requirements :

• 13-20 years of experience in Data Architecture with expertise in Dimensional Modeling.
• Strong understanding of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency in developing complex ETL pipelines using PySpark, Scala, or equivalent technologies like Spark.

Design scalable and secure data platforms using the Databricks Lakehouse architecture. Architect batch and real-time data ingestion frameworks from multiple source systems. Develop data models, data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions. Lead the migration of legacy data platforms to cloud-based modern data architectures. Define data governance, metadata management, data quality, lineage, and security standards. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
