We’re hiring: Senior Data Architect / Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Data Architect / Data Engineer to join a major Data & AI transformation initiative within a global organization.

This is a hybrid architecture + engineering role: we need someone who can design the solution and build it . You’ll help scale and stabilize an enterprise data platform built on Microsoft Fabric , establish trusted enterprise data models, and prepare the platform to support a growing portfolio of AI and GenAI use cases .

What You’ll Do

• Architect, build, and optimize enterprise data solutions using Microsoft Fabric
• Design and implement Lakehouse architectures using Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion patterns
• Build and maintain Fabric Pipelines, Notebooks, Semantic Models, and OneLake solutions
• Improve data platform performance, scalability, reliability, and governance
• Design standardized enterprise data models across Customer, Revenue, Finance, Operations, and related domains
• Establish consistent business definitions, KPIs, data quality, and lineage practices
• Build semantic models designed for both BI and AI agent consumption
• Enable structured enterprise data for RAG and GenAI use cases
• Integrate data from systems such as SAP, Salesforce, APIs, and other enterprise platforms
• Develop solutions hands-on using PySpark and SQL
• Implement CI/CD and version control practices for data pipelines
• Build and optimize Power BI semantic models
• Document architecture, data models, standards, and operational processes

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Lakehouse / Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Fabric Pipelines, Notebooks, Semantic Models & OneLake
• Strong PySpark and SQL skills
• Enterprise data modeling and data governance experience
• Data quality, lineage, KPI standardization & master data concepts
• Power BI semantic modeling and optimization
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP and Salesforce
• CI/CD, version control and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of RAG, AI agents, and semantic layers for AI consumption
• Experience with Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse
• Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English
• Ability to communicate architecture decisions effectively with senior leadership

Nice to Have

• Hospitality or travel industry experience
• Salesforce Data Cloud / CDP exposure
• Microsoft Fabric certification
• Entra ID / Azure AD-based access management
• dbt, Cube, AtScale, or similar semantic modeling frameworks
• Azure AI Foundry and LLM integration experience

You’ll work with an international team across North America and Latin America, helping build the data foundation for advanced analytics, AI agents, personalization, forecasting, and future automation.
