Data Architect

Pitney Bowes is seeking an experienced AI & Data Architect to lead our enterprise AI and data architecture strategy. This role will serve as the enterprise design authority for AI and data, responsible for defining the roadmap, standards, governance framework, and operating model that enable AI adoption and data-driven decision making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling enterprise data and AI platforms, establishing governance and operating standards, and driving AI initiatives from concept through production. You will partner closely with executive leadership, engineering, security, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and business-aligned AI and data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise AI and data architecture roadmap
• Lead the design of modern data and AI platforms, including cloud, analytics, AI/ML, and generative AI capabilities
• Establish enterprise standards for data governance, quality, ownership, security, and responsible AI
• Drive adoption of scalable AI and data solutions across business units
• Serve as the enterprise authority for AI and data architecture decisions
• Build alignment across technology and business leaders to accelerate business value from AI

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, data architecture, or AI/ML platforms
• Experience building and scaling enterprise data and AI platforms in complex environments
• Expertise in cloud technologies, modern data architectures, AI/ML, MLOps, and generative AI
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Ability to operate at both strategic and deep technical levels
