Data Architect

About the Opportunity:

• Our client is an innovative technology company focused on helping large enterprises modernize complex data ecosystems and build cloud-native, AI-ready data platforms.
• We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead strategic data migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise-scale environments.
• This is a highly visible, client-facing role at the intersection of data engineering, technical consulting, and delivery leadership .
• You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of complex transformation programs while enabling organizations to unlock the full value of their data for analytics and AI.

What You'll Do:

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate complex data migration and modernization projects.
• Manage project deliverables, dependencies, risks, testing activities, and issue resolution.
• Validate migration outcomes, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and traceability.
• Drive the design and delivery of governed, scalable, AI-ready data products.
• Coordinate production deployments, stabilization efforts, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders.

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Modernization, or Technical Delivery.
• Strong SQL expertise and solid understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing modern data warehouse solutions.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Google BigQuery
• Experience with data migration, reconciliation, testing, and production support.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ownership of technical delivery and project execution.
