Data Architect

We’re looking for a Data Architect to build a reliable, well-governed data platform on Databricks. You’ll bring information from many systems and spreadsheets together in one place, so teams can rely on it for reporting, forecasting and emerging AI tools.

The work

• Design the Lakehouse structure and the core data models;
• Build pipelines that pull in system data and legacy spreadsheets;
• Put checks in place so errors are caught, fixed and tracked;
• Manage access and data lineage through Unity Catalog;
• Get datasets ready for analytics and AI-driven use cases;
• Work closely with finance, security and platform colleagues.

Your background

• Databricks architecture experience at enterprise scale;
• Solid SQL and PySpark;
• Data modelling, metadata and lineage know-how;
• Experience connecting data to apps, APIs or automation tools;
• Comfortable leading workshops and talking to non-technical stakeholders.
