Data Architect

Senior Data Architect / Solution Architect –

The candidate will be engaged as a Senior Data Architect , also taking on certain Solution Architect responsibilities, in the context of the further development of Client's data platform.

The Senior Data Architect will work closely with all employees involved in implementing the data platform, across both business and ICT teams. Where necessary, the candidate will also collaborate with the ICT Architecture Department and the Operations Department to ensure the correct interpretation of the tasks outlined in the appendix. All choices and decisions will be made in coordination and consultation with the relevant stakeholders.

An additional principle is that concrete implementations should, wherever possible, be carried out and managed independently by the internal team.

Together with, or in consultation with, the Client Data Platform Project Leader, the Senior Data Architect will ensure sufficient consultation with the various stakeholders and provide regular progress updates through project and steering groups.

The end result of this assignment is the technical and data-related completion and improvement of the existing data platform in all its aspects (see also the tasks in the appendix), including the implementation of several end-to-end solutions within one or more data domains.

Skills and Experience

Demonstrable experience as a Data Architect across multiple projects involving complex data architecture challenges

Proven experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps

Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric

Demonstrable experience in establishing and developing data strategy and data architecture

Proven experience with Power BI

Proven experience in the public/government sector

Demonstrable experience translating conceptual information models into logical data models

Demonstrable experience with Data Management

Demonstrable experience working with data standards

Proven experience with programming and scripting languages

General knowledge of, or experience with, legislation and procedures relating to agriculture and manure policy
