🚀 Data Architect – IoT, ETL & ERP Integration 🚀

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the technical design, integration, and optimization of data infrastructure within an industrial production environment.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Data Architecture, ETL Pipelines, IoT, and ERP Integration , along with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, shopfloor systems, and industrial data flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage data infrastructure and integration architectures connecting shopfloor systems, cloud data platforms, and ERP solutions.
• Coordinate technical activities across data engineering, ERP, image recognition, and production processes.
• Gather technical requirements from business departments and coordinate their implementation with Product Owners.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and workers for extracting, transforming, and integrating data from various sources.
• Integrate data from production equipment, IoT sensors, automation systems, and image recognition technologies.
• Manage data modeling, processing, and integration within Odoo ERP .
• Ensure consistent data flows across manufacturing and production processes.
• Support integrations between ERP, MES, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
• Define data quality standards, monitor automated pipelines, and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Collaborate closely with production teams, electrical engineers, and senior project management.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, IoT Systems Engineer, or IT/OT Integration Specialist .
• Proven experience in designing and coordinating data integration projects within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ETL Pipelines, ETL Workers, Data Modeling, and Data Integration .
• Hands-on experience with IoT technologies and industrial data aggregation.
• Practical experience with Odoo or similar modular ERP systems .
• Experience integrating ERP, MES, SCADA, and shopfloor systems.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks .
• Good understanding of industrial automation, manufacturing processes, and shopfloor operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• German: Very good professional working proficiency.
• English: Very good professional working proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines for Data Engineering.
• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with industrial image recognition and quality inspection systems.
• Background in electrical engineering or industrial automation.
• Experience coordinating external partners, IT development teams, and shopfloor operations.

Project Details

• Location: 100% Remote
• Start Date: ASAP
• Project Duration: 90 project days
• Workload: Full-Time (5 days/week)
• Engagement: Project-based consulting
