Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Automation Control Engineer to support the operation, optimization, and standardization of BMS/EPMS systems across our global data center sites.

In this role, you will work closely with local Facility Management (FM) and Facility Engineering (FE) teams to improve monitoring and automation capabilities, enhance operational reliability, and drive the implementation of standardized automation control solutions across overseas data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• BMS/EPMS Integration & Data Management: Ensure the reliability and accuracy of operational data integration. Oversee CMDB topology diagram creation, verification, and maintenance, as well as EMS measurement point surveys, system integration, data governance, and optimization.
• Alarm Management & Emergency Preparedness: Drive alarm convergence, EOP (Emergency Operating Procedure) integration, contingency plan development, and emergency response drills with local FM/FE teams.
• Automation Control Optimization: Assess automation control systems and operational logic, identify optimization opportunities, troubleshoot recurring issues, and develop standardized technical solutions.
• Technical Audits & Risk Management: Conduct specialized risk inspections, review system changes and maintenance activities, assess O&M optimization opportunities, and participate in global on-site technical audits.
• System Deployment & Commissioning: Oversee vendor-performed change activities and support system deployment, commissioning, configuration, utilization, and continuous optimization.
• Global Technology Implementation: Drive the rollout of key automation control technologies and standardized practices across global data centers to improve system reliability and operational consistency.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with local FM/FE teams, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to advance data center control systems from basic monitoring toward automated control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, HVAC , Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 3+ years in data center operations and maintenance (O&M) management, quality engineering, or a related technical role.
• Solid understanding of automation control system architecture, control logic, and logic optimization methods.
• Hands-on experience with BMS/EPMS systems and data center critical infrastructure equipment.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, and MQTT.
• Experience in system deployment, commissioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Python, Shell scripting, or other programming skills are an advantage.
• Strong Chinese and English communication skills, with the ability to conduct technical discussions independently at overseas sites and prepare technical documentation in English.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and execution skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, vendors, and cultures.
• Willingness to support overseas site visits and global technical inspections as required.
