Data Center Concierge & Security Specialist (Tier 2)

About the role

This is a Security Operations role focused on access control, biometrics system management, lobby operations, and checkpoint security at a data center facility. You will manage front-desk operations, handle visitor compliance, verify documentation, and oversee access permissions and biometric registrations.

Key responsibilities

• Record, register, and approve access permissions for staff and contractors in C-CURE Access Control System
• Manage temporary badges and biometric registrations (facial scan and fingerprint)
• Manage front-desk lobby operations and handle email correspondence in English
• Ensure visitors comply with Data Center Regulations (DCWR/EHS)
• Verify Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and issue camera/media permits
• Manage key inventory and access control systems in coordination with Team Leads
• Record entry data via online client platforms at checkpoints (Main Gate, Lobby, Kiosk)
• Collect biometric data (facial/fingerprint) for access verification
• Test automated barrier gate readiness and daily backup communication systems (Satellite Phone/Radio)

About you

• Minimum High Vocational Certificate (Dip.) or Bachelor's Degree in any field
• 1–3 years experience in front desk, reception, operational admin, or access control operations
• Good operational English skills for visitor greeting, procedure explanation, and email correspondence (Essential)
• Proficient in computers and AI tools, with strong ability to learn access control software (Essential)
• Professional appearance and detail-oriented
• Good problem-solving and service mindset
• Strictly compliant with security rules
• Backgrounds in airports, hospitality/tourism, international call centers, or Data Center security will receive special consideration
