Data Center Controls Engineer (BMS / EMS / PLC, Mandarin Required)

Job Responsibilities

1. Automation & Monitoring System O&M Management (BMS / EPMS / EMS)

• System Reliability Assurance: Ensure the reliability of data ingestion for BMS (Building Management System), EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring System), and EMS in overseas data centers; optimize control logic and policy configurations.
• Point & Topology Management: Organize local teams to complete the mapping, integration, governance, and optimization of EMS data points; coordinate local FM/FE (Facility Management / Facility Engineers) to draw, audit, and continuously update CMDB topology diagrams.
• Alarm & Emergency Plan Management: Lead local FM/FE teams in alarm suppression, EOP (Emergency Operating Procedure) linkage, and the formulation and drills of emergency action strategies.

2. Technical Optimization, Risk Inspection & Global Audits ("Fly-Checks")

• Risk Assessment & Standardization: Conduct technical optimization assessments for automation systems and establish standardized solutions for common and recurring faults.
• Change Review & Global Audits: Responsible for specialized automation risk inspections, change reviews, maintenance re-verifications, and on-site global audits ("fly-checks") across international data centers to drive key automation technologies and ensure "zero failures" in control systems.

3. Overseas Project Testing & Commissioning and Quality Control (T&C / FAT)

• On-site Testing Management & Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the work of suppliers and third-party testing agencies on overseas project sites; supervise the implementation of test plans, drive rapid troubleshooting and issue closure, and ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), quality, and delivery standards.
• Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for Major Projects: Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for critical equipment and systems (focusing on electrical safety, structural reliability, thermal management performance, etc.); review technical documents submitted by vendors (such as BOM, drawings, test reports, etc.).
• End-to-End Quality Control & Handover: Execute and verify handover testing and commissioning (T&C) for overseas facilities; assist in evidence collection, schedule management, and quality control during testing.

4. Vendor Oversight & Localization Synergy

• Supervise vendors' on-site change operations, taking responsibility for system deployment, commissioning, operation, optimization, and policy configuration.
• Collaborate closely with overseas local FM/FE teams to drive cross-functional implementation of IDC (Internet Data Center) control systems.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background & Major

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (exceptions can be made for outstanding candidates).
• Major: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Heavy/Light Current), Automation, HVAC, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields.

2. Work Experience

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including 3+ years in data center operation & maintenance management, testing and commissioning (T&C), or quality engineering (candidates with T&C experience are preferred).
• System Knowledge: Familiar with data center automation architecture, operational logic, and related infrastructure systems (Electrical, HVAC, Low Voltage, Fire Protection); proficient in BMS/EPMS systems and mainstream communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, MQTT, etc.).

3. Core Technical Skills

• System & Coding Skills: Hands-on capability in system deployment, debugging, operation, optimization, and strategy configuration; coding/scripting ability (Python, Shell, etc.) is a plus.
• Testing & Documentation Review: Proficient in data center testing and commissioning procedures; capable of reviewing test plans, execution methods, and test reports; familiar with test project schedule, quality, and safety management.

4. Language & Soft Skills

• Language Proficiency: Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese; able to independently conduct overseas technical discussions, lead meetings, and draft technical documentation in English.
• Collaboration & Stress Tolerance: Strong cross-departmental, cross-team, and cross-cultural communication and coordination skills; strong sense of responsibility, independent judgment, and ability to work under pressure.
• Certifications & Compliance: Strong EHS awareness; PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
