Data Center Cooling Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues involving data center cooling equipment, including magnetic bearing chillers, Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), Fan Wall systems, and Precision Air Conditioning (PAC) units.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers, ensuring timely issue resolution and reliable equipment performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for major technical incidents, prepare investigation reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical solutions, support customer engagements, and address technical requirements during key account discussions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution proposals, technical standards, operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and work instructions.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions for customers, service engineers, and service partners to enhance technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in after-sales service, field service, or technical support.
• Strong technical knowledge of cooling systems, preferably magnetic bearing chillers, CDUs, Fan Wall systems, or precision air conditioning.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify equipment faults and determine root causes.
• Familiarity with data center operations and engineering site environments.
• Good spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate effectively with customer
• Willingness to provide remote and on-site technical support when required.
