  • Assist with new data center build-outs, expansions, and infrastructure deployments.

5. Safety & Compliance

  • Follow established data center safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
  • Comply with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures wherever applicable.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

6. Collaboration & Documentation

  • Coordinate with engineering, facilities, and supply chain teams to support operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates, equipment records, and installation documentation.
  • Provide clear shift handovers and communicate outstanding incidents or maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Experience performing rack and stack operations and installing data center network equipment.
  • Proficiency with OTDRs, optical power meters, cable testers, and related diagnostic tools.
  • Strong understanding of physical network connectivity and Layer 1 troubleshooting.
  • Experience with hardware replacement, break-fix support, and network infrastructure maintenance.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, incident tracking, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to follow data center safety standards and operational procedures.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Experience working in large-scale or hyperscale data centers.
  • Familiarity with liquid-cooled data center racks and associated infrastructure.
  • Experience with barcode scanning, asset tracking, and inventory management systems.
  • BICSI Installer or Technician certification.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Physical Requirements
