Data Center Facility Expert

About the role

Manage data center infrastructure operations and respond to O&M incidents, including emergency on-site support when required. Organize and manage the infrastructure O&M team, establish duty and emergency response mechanisms, ensure compliance with operational standards, and continuously improve operational stability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data center infrastructure operations and respond to O&M incidents, including emergency on-site support when required
• Organize and manage the infrastructure O&M team, establish duty and emergency response mechanisms, ensure compliance with operational standards, and continuously improve operational stability and efficiency
• Maintain infrastructure operation logs, ensure data accuracy and completeness, and submit reports on time
• Respond to infrastructure incidents according to EOP and incident management requirements, coordinate troubleshooting and recovery, and complete root cause analysis and closed-loop resolution
• Troubleshoot critical data center infrastructure, including power, HVAC and low-voltage systems. Lead root cause analysis, post-incident reviews and knowledge sharing for major incidents
• Identify potential operational risks, implement risk control measures, and continuously optimize EOP processes
• Independently develop and implement MOPs for infrastructure changes and modification projects, ensuring safe execution and minimizing operational risks
• Continuously optimize data center infrastructure monitoring, security, risk management, capacity management and availability management
• Lead the team to improve operational stability and efficiency, coordinate projects, optimize processes, establish technical standards and drive cross-team collaboration

About you

• More than 5 years of relevant working experience
• Professional knowledge of data center facility systems and solid understanding of IDC operations
• Familiar with IDC facility construction standards and architectural design, with an understanding of different infrastructure systems and models
• Strong knowledge of power, HVAC and low-voltage systems, including their operating principles
• Strong incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis and risk management capabilities
• Experience in infrastructure monitoring, security management, risk management, capacity management and availability management
• Familiar with project management tools and methodologies, with strong team management and project coordination capabilities
• Strong communication, teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration skills
