About Midea America

Midea America Corp. is a U.S. subsidiary of Midea Group, a Fortune Global 500 company and a global leader in climate control, HVAC, and building solutions. Supported by 166,000+ employees across 200+ countries, Midea is rapidly scaling its mission-critical thermal management and liquid cooling business to support next-generation data centers across North America and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair of liquid cooling systems (cold-plate / direct-to-chip and immersion) and HVAC equipment; develop and optimize maintenance plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure 24×7 reliable operation.
  • Lead root-cause analysis, emergency repair, and response for complex liquid cooling faults (leaks, flow/pressure anomalies, overheating, etc.); execute MOP/EOP operations and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Manage spare parts demand and inventory; accurately record inspection, maintenance, and repair work orders; regularly produce maintenance logs and equipment health reports.
  • Serve as a technical advisor by establishing maintenance standards and procedures, mentoring and training the on-site operations team, and providing technical oversight of maintenance quality.
  • Participate in energy management, efficiency improvement, and fault reduction initiatives — such as PUE/WUE optimization, cooling and liquid cooling parameter tuning, and preventive maintenance improvements — to continuously enhance equipment reliability and energy performance.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with the data center industry, with 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure operations and 3+ years of hands-on liquid cooling (cold-plate / immersion) operations experience.
  • Experience operating or providing technical guidance at renowned data center sites (high-density GPU/AI liquid cooling projects strongly preferred).
  • Fluent in English, capable of on-site operations, technical documentation, and team training.
  • Knowledge of energy management, energy efficiency metrics (PUE/WUE), and fault analysis / continuous improvement methods is preferred.
