Data Center Operations Support (North East / Shift up to 8PM)

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and fire suppression systems
• Perform environmental monitoring checks (temperature, humidity, and water leakage)
• Support facility maintenance, equipment installation, and cable management activities
• Manage physical security operations, including access control, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management
• Monitor IT systems and perform basic troubleshooting, system administration, and user access management
• Support incident response, service requests, backup operations, and disaster recovery activities
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, operational logs, and reports
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in Data Centre Operations, IT Operations, or Facilities Management
• Understanding of critical infrastructure systems, IT operations, and security controls
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work in a shift-based environment and respond to operational incidents when required
• ITIL Foundation (preferred)
• Data Centre Operations Certification (preferred)
• Basic IT Infrastructure Certifications (preferred)
• Security Awareness Certification (preferred)
