Data Center Supervisor

Qualification:

• ITIL certification or equivalent

• Knowledge of UNIX, Linux and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 operating systems

• Knowledge of Data Processing concepts such as disaster recovery, backup systems, storage management, cloud computing, continuous availability is an advantage

• Higher Diploma / Degree holder in Computer Studies or related fields

• At least 6 years Data Center Operations working experience with minimum 3 years in leadership role

• Advanced knowledge of networking and server devices

• Ability to communicate effectively on all level, both to HKITP Technical Support Teams and internal Data Center Operators

• Able to work under pressure and during non-office hours when required

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)

• Knowledge of data center infrastructure and management (DCIM) tools

• Strong project management skills (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 certification)

• Experience with cybersecurity practices relevant to data center operations

• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages for operational efficiency

• Understanding of environmental and sustainability practices in data center operations
