Data Center/Cable Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems including Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cables, and low-voltage electrical wiring to ensure reliable network connectivity.
• Perform fiber splicing and fiber optic systems installation to support high-speed data transmission.
• Conduct network wiring and equipment troubleshooting for data centers, including server hardware, switches, routers, and telecommunication systems.
• Use schematics, technical diagrams, and testing equipment like ohmmeters and telecommunication testing tools to diagnose issues accurately.
• Support field service activities by installing communication infrastructure in data centers or customer sites while adhering to safety standards.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
