1. MEP Project Manager / Senior Manager / Director

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced MEP Project Management professionals to lead the delivery of large-scale data centre projects. Depending on seniority, the successful candidate will manage the overall MEP project execution, including planning, coordination, construction, commercial performance, stakeholder management and successful handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall MEP construction and delivery for data centre projects from planning through to completion and handover.
• Develop and monitor project plans, construction schedules, manpower requirements and key project milestones.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, project management teams, design teams, subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage MEP subcontractors and ensure works are delivered according to project specifications, quality requirements and programme.
• Oversee coordination between Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and other specialist systems.
• Identify potential project risks, technical issues and delays, and implement appropriate mitigation or recovery plans.
• Monitor project progress, cost, quality, safety and productivity.
• Ensure effective coordination between construction, design, procurement and commissioning teams.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular project updates to internal management and clients.
• Support procurement and commercial teams in reviewing subcontractor performance, variations, claims and project costs.
• Drive compliance with relevant quality, safety, statutory and client requirements.
• Ensure proper project documentation, reporting and records are maintained.
• Support the development and mentoring of project and engineering teams.

Senior Manager / Director Level – Additional Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership across one or multiple large-scale data centre projects.
• Take responsibility for overall project strategy, resource planning and delivery performance.
• Build and manage high-performing MEP project teams.
• Provide senior-level stakeholder and client management.
• Support business planning, tender reviews, project risk assessment and operational improvement.
• Drive consistency in project delivery standards, systems and best practices across the organisation.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in MEP project delivery within construction, preferably involving large-scale and complex projects.
• Experience in data centres, mission-critical facilities, semiconductor, industrial or other complex infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of MEP construction methodologies, project planning, coordination and execution.
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors, consultants and multiple project stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage project risks, programme and commercial considerations.
• For senior-level roles, proven experience leading large project teams and managing major projects or multiple work packages.

2. MEP Commissioning Manager / Senior Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced MEP Commissioning professionals to lead and manage the commissioning activities for large-scale data centre projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all MEP systems are properly tested, integrated, commissioned and handed over in accordance with project requirements and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall MEP commissioning process, from commissioning planning through to testing, integrated systems testing and project handover.
• Develop and manage the project Commissioning Plan, Commissioning Schedule and Testing Procedures.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with construction, project, engineering, design and client teams.
• Manage and coordinate commissioning activities involving Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and other critical systems.
• Review commissioning documentation, method statements, test procedures and commissioning programmes.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, equipment vendors and specialist service providers during testing and commissioning.
• Monitor system readiness and ensure all pre-commissioning requirements are completed before formal testing.
• Manage and resolve technical issues, system failures and deficiencies identified during commissioning.
• Lead or coordinate Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and other relevant functional and performance testing.
• Ensure testing records, reports, checklists and handover documentation are properly completed.
• Track and manage outstanding defects, punch lists and close-out activities.
• Coordinate closely with clients and relevant stakeholders during witnessing, testing and handover.
• Ensure commissioning activities comply with project specifications, client requirements, quality standards and relevant procedures.
• Provide regular progress reporting and highlight commissioning risks, delays and mitigation plans.
• Support knowledge transfer and final handover to the client's operations team.

Senior Manager Level – Additional Responsibilities

• Lead the overall commissioning strategy for major data centre projects or multiple projects.
• Manage and develop commissioning teams and establish clear roles, responsibilities and processes.
• Oversee commissioning programme, resource planning and major technical risks.
• Act as the senior commissioning representative in discussions with clients, consultants and project leadership.
• Drive improvements in commissioning methodology, documentation, quality and lessons learned.
• Support early-stage project planning to ensure commissioning requirements are considered during design and construction.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in MEP Testing & Commissioning within large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes for critical MEP systems.
• Experience in data centre or mission-critical facilities will be highly preferred.
• Familiarity with systems such as HVAC, chilled water, electrical distribution, generators, UPS, switchgear, fire protection and control systems.
• Experience in managing commissioning subcontractors, vendors and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage detailed commissioning programmes, testing documentation and project handover requirements.
• For Senior Manager level, proven experience leading commissioning teams and managing the commissioning of large and complex projects.
