Data Controller

Job Summary

Responsible for controlling, validating and maintaining the accuracy and completeness of production, material, manpower and cost data for all plant operations. The role involves managing production transactions in Oracle, monitoring data integrity, preparing operational and cost reports, and coordinating with relevant departments to resolve data discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure timely and accurate completion of production transactions in Oracle for all plant operations.
• Validate and maintain production, material receiving, manpower and cost data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare work-hour summaries and manpower cost reports for the SCM department, including permanent foreign workers.
• Manage and verify GRN transactions for all parts and materials received.
• Prepare and monitor material consumption reports and reconcile system records with actual material usage.
• Consolidate production, manpower, material and cost data for periodic management reporting.
• Identify data discrepancies, coordinate with relevant departments and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain proper records and documentation to support internal controls, audits and management reporting.

Education:

• Diploma or SKM in Engineering, Technical, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience:

• Preferably 2–3 years of relevant working experience in data control, production, SCM, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant technical skills and knowledge may also be considered.

Specific Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Good attendance, discipline and safety awareness.
• Willing to work in a production environment.
• Willing to learn new skills, systems and processes.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,350.00 per month
