DATA CONVERSION SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

• Own and facilitate patient data conversion projects over a 2-4 week timeline
• Participate in planning, implementing, and monitoring the continuous quality improvement
• Audit data provided by the customer for portability
• Deliver assigned work on schedule and provide regular status reports to the Implementation Specialists
• Respond promptly to inbound phone calls and emails
• Calibrate and import patient data based on documented specifications utilizing Excel, SQL, and other tools
• Inspect completed import transactions for quality and accuracy
• Prepare, maintain, and publish documentation, including design, source-to-target mappings, and business-driven transformation rules
• Accurately extract, transform and load data coming from various source systems with 100% success rate
• Evolve to meet new and ever-changing business requirements

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field
• Minimum 2 years experience with the command line, Shell, or Terminal • Minimum 2 years experience coding in Python or higher
• Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite3, and MySQL experience
• Prior experience with Microsoft Excel functions and macros
• Experience handling protected health information (PHI) and knowledge of HIPAA
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with APIs, possesses strong API knowledge
