Data Destruction Technician

Join our dynamic team as a Data Destruction Technician, where your expertise will ensure the secure and environmentally responsible disposal of sensitive electronic data. In this vital role, you will handle the destruction of various electronic devices and storage media, maintaining strict compliance with data security standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely disassemble electronic devices using hand tools and specialized equipment to access storage media for data destruction.
• Perform thorough data wiping or physical destruction of hard drives, solid-state drives, mobile devices, and other storage components.
• Conduct analysis of hardware components to verify complete data removal and identify potential repair needs.
• Maintain detailed records of all destruction activities, including logs of devices processed and methods used.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all procedures to prevent injury and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift at least 50Lbs
• Must be able to maintain all applicable quality, environmental, health and safety practices.
• No felony convictions in the last 7 years for theft, fraud, or burglary

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
